Cyrus A. Chowdhury is the founder and Managing Director of BioCapInvest LLC, a life sciences seed-financing venture capital firm. He collaborates with both individual and institutional investors to identify and finance entrepreneurs at the development frontier of early-stage biopharmaceutical and digital health assets. Under his leadership, BioCapInvest is committed to supporting global groundbreaking advancements in healthcare today and for decades to come.
Backgound

Mr. Chowdhury has worked for two decades in the life sciences industry across financial, commercial strategy, clinical, and health policy functions. Prior to founding BioCapInvest, LLC, he founded and for seven years served as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of CBPartners, a life sciences commercial strategy consulting firm. During his tenure, he oversaw the firm's triple-digit annual revenue growth for several of those years, establishment of five practices, the development of over one hundred employees, and industry-defining thought leadership.

Prior to this, he led global biopharmaceutical commercial strategy engagements spanning the full life-cycle of product development from pre-clinical go / no-go decisions through launch-planning and eventual product portfolio extension via partnership, acquisition, and label expansion. He has in-depth expertise in both established and emerging markets. Mr. Chowdhury has also worked in clinical research and emerging biopharmaceutical market analysis. Through these roles, he has established business operations in several cities, including New York City, San Francisco, London, Paris, Zurich, Shanghai, and Mumbai.
